Older generation 'embracing cosmetic dentistry'

Older generation 'embracing cosmetic dentistry'Cosmetic dentistry is popular among the older generation, according to the Vancouver Sun.

In a letter to the newspaper, Jacqueline A Kirby, 64, writes that she is happy to explore ways of keeping young.

"I don't think I know anyone my age who has not at the very least explored some type of cosmetic surgery procedure, accepting accelerated dentistry practices such as teeth whitening and veneers as common practice," she states.

Ms Kirby adds that she is part of an affluent generation, who have experienced different social groups and travelled to different places.

With life expectations increasing and health improving, the over-65s are bumping up numbers in exercise classes and boosting business in laser and cosmetic surgery clinics, she says.

Regina Ford, a Green Valley News and Sun columnist, has also remarked that as she grows older, cosmetic dentistry is something she enjoys treating herself to.

"It's like a facelift for your mouth," she claimed.ADNFCR-1374-ID-18538255-ADNFCR
