New specialist dental clinic opens in Kelso
A new specialist dental clinic has opened in Kelso.
Vermilion Kelso has opened in the Scottish Borders, becoming the first multi-disciplinary referral practice in the area. The clinic is now accepting cases from dentists all over the region, including implant treatment and restorative cases.
The opening of the new dental centre will improve access to specialist dental care in the borders, and it has also created nine new jobs. The team includes five existing dentists who are based in both Edinburgh and Kelso, in addition to nine new members of staff, including dental nurses, a hygienist, a technician and administrative and clinical staff.
The surgery has opened at Pinnaclehill Industrial Estate. Work began on creating the practice in December and the clinic officially opened in June. The building boasts three surgeries, a laboratory, a spacious waiting area, a decontamination suite and a staffroom, and there is a state of the art cone beam CT scanner on site.
Vermilion Kelso offers a wide range of services, including implant treatment, restorative dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, dental hygiene and treatment for snoring.
