A new NHS dental practice has opened in Gloucester.

The new surgery, run by Genix Healthcare, is located just a few minutes walk from Kings Walk on Station Road. The practice is ideally situated for people working in the city, as well as shoppers and local residents.

The practice, which will be one of the largest in the city, will provide a full range of NHS dental services and emergency care. NHS Gloucestershire has also announced plans to open another new surgery in Quedgeley later this year, taking the number of places available for local residents up to 22,000.

Jan Stubbings, from NHS Gloucestershire, said that the opening of the new practice is part of the trust’s ongoing commitment to providing excellent NHS dental services in the area and two new surgeries have already opened in Cheltenham and Cirencester this year.

Patients interested in registering with the practice are urged to telephone rather than visit the practice, as staff are expecting a high demand for places.

Sian Nelson-Jones, from Genix Healthcare, said that everyone at Genix was delighted to be working alongside the NHS to deliver first class dental care.
