New Dental Surgery Opens in Oxfordshire
A new dental surgery has opened in Cowley, East Oxford, creating thousands of NHS dental places and giving local residents a source of good dental health and education.
The Westbridge Dental Practice has moved from the centre of Cowley to a purpose-built surgery in Templars Square. It will now offer 6,000 additional NHS dental places.
The practice consists of eight separate surgeries and was funded in part by NHS Oxfordshire.
A spokesperson from NHS Oxfordshire said that the opening of the surgery was great news for local residents and a sign of the trust’s commitment to improving access to dental services in the area.
Peter Otzen, owner of the practice, said that Cowley had been identified as a high priority area. Therefore the introduction of The Westbridge Dental Practice in Cowley could not have come at a better time for local residents.
