New dental school set to open in Utah
A brand new, state of the art dental school is set to open in Utah.
The University of Southern Nevada is opening the new facility in the Salt Lake area of South Jordan. The new, 125,000 square foot school will cost 23 million dollars to build; the facility will be kitted out with the latest technology and state of the art training facilities.
The dental school is set to open next year in time to take in the first year of students in August. Members of staff at the school say there have already been over a thousand applications, with most of the students applying for a place coming from California. The school will take applications up until the end of February.
Tuition fees for the dental course are likely to be over £50,000 per year.
The University of Southern Nevada already runs a campus at the River Park Corporate Center.
