Millions could have fluoridated water in the future

Millions of people could have fluoride added to their ware, following a court ruling that gave a local health authority the right to proceed with fluoridation, despite public outcry.

With the backing of the local council and two thirds of local residents, a mother from Southampton appealed against the South Central Strategic Health Authority’s decision to fluoridate local water supplies. However, a judge ruled that the authority had not acted illegally and said that the authority was well within its rights to go ahead with the plans.

Geraldine Milner took the case to court but the judicial review sided with the health authority and this ruling could pave the way for other authorities in the UK to start adding fluoride to the water supply. Mr Justice Holman ruled in favour of the fluoridation plans on the basis that Parliament had given local authorities the power to decide whether or not to add fluoride to the water supplies in their area a long time.

Mrs Milner’s appeal was backed by anti-fluoride campaigners, who claimed that adding fluoride to the water contributed to health conditions, including a higher risk of thyroid problems and even an increased risk of bone cancer.

The British Dental Association has welcomed the decision; representatives claim that adding fluoride to the water helps to strengthen and protect the teeth and reduce rates of decay, without harming general health. Dental experts say that fluoridated water is particularly beneficial for children from poorer backgrounds. Professor Damien Walmsley, scientific adviser to the BDA, said that there is a great deal of evidence, including a recent European compilation of the latest research, to support both the safety and efficacy of fluoride; he said that it was likely that the ruling would encourage consultations in other parts of the country.

n Dec 2007, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, a common form of hypothyroidism which I found can be caused by fluoride. After 35yrs exposure to unknown dosages of fluoride, I started to avoid fluoridated water and all products containing it and 6 months later my thyroid hormone levels had returned to normal. With high antibody counts, my battle with the disease is ongoing and it requires great discipline to maintain a fluoride free diet in Australia. Last year my health deteriorated again so I also began to avoid all physical contact with fluoridated water. A month later my health improved once again.
So why doesn’t the law support the people? In a true democratic society, people would be entitled to a choice about fluoride.

How about avoiding sunlight? And air? And dust? And plastic? Were you also abducted by aliens as a child?
Hashimoto’s is an autoimmune disease, which is a chronic lymphocytic thyroiditis. It is caused by your body’s defence cells attacking thyroid tissue.
Asthma is a very common autoimmune disease too, so is Crohn’s disease, MS, and the list goes on and on. Are these also caused by fluoride in the community drinking water? Get real!
Fluoride silicate salt that is added to drinking water reservoirs dissociates into Fluoride ions and the inert silicates. The fluoride ions are used by enamel forming cells called ameloblasts and the outermost layer of enamel converts into fluorapatite. These fluorapatite crystals are very resistant to acid attack, whether during tooth decay or soft drink erosion that we commonly see in today’s world. In short, fluride reduces tooth decay by as much as 66% (read up on the scientific data, not fearmongerers ridiculous websites)
If you told me mercury is unsafe in the mouth, I will agree somewhat to that, although most dentists will agree otherwise.
Also remember fluoride is naturally present in about 0.2 to 0.4ppm in many natural foods, like radish, carrots, beets, etc. And in meats. Also present in the soil. Will you stop touching the earth?
What you really need is a dose of reality, and maybe a good shrink!

VS Tanner is a dentist – obviously!

I suppose that you also believe that “fluoride is natural and it comes from rocks”?

I don’t think that you would believe that the fluoride that you are putting into the water is a chemically derived S6 Poison and an environmental pollutant – would you?

Answer a question – “why is fluoride removed in fertiliser production?”

Answer: because it is a retardent and an environmental poison – any good farmer will tell you that Super Phosphate must never be over used – why? – because it still contains some fluoride!

Also keep in the front of your tiny brain that 99.5% of all fluoridated water ends up back in the rivers, streams, oceans and land – read my lips – it is already classified as an environmental pollutant and it is illegal under International Law to dispose of it like this. This is why it would be more sensible to provide, tablets, toothpaste, even bottled fluoridated water for THOSE THAT WANT IT!

You have NO RIGHT to force everyone to take “medication” – you are aware of the EU decision that fluoride in water should be considered a medication?

You also need to up date your “content” – black tea can contain up to (and sometimes exceeds) 6ppm – anything processed with fluoridated water will also contain .7 to 1.1 ppm of fluoride. If you have half a brain you will start to count “TOTAL EXPOSURE” as directed by the WHO.

Forgot to ask – do you have any “good shrinks” in your address book?

Perhaps you need to stop breathing in mercury fumes!

Lesley – the idiot dentist is doing exactly the same as every other “pro fluoridationist” in the world because his/her Dental Association would probably kick him out if he didn’t “do as he has been told”. They continually come out with “silly statements” such as: Were you also abducted by aliens as a child?

How can one believe in a “professional” that makes comments that are so utterly stupid .

I had one scientist up here in Queensland that said to me: “well I haven’t grown two heads and I have been drinking it for fourty years”. My reply was: “pity you didn’t grow two heads because you might have had half a brain to think with”.

One last comment:

What is the definition of XSPURT? X is the sign of a reject and a sput is a drip under pressure.

Tanner with his DDS obviously qualifies.

You know where the term QUACK originated? It was given to dentists when they started putting Quacksalver into living bodies – Quacksalver was the early name for Quicksilver or Mercury – you know the same stuff that is put into most vaccinations as a preservative – a known NEURO DISRUPTER – go suck some more in Doc.
