Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford Spashes Out On New Smile
Manchester United’s teenage sensation Marcus Rashford, has splashed out on a new smile.
Rashford, who hit the headlines after scoring in a series of high-profile games last season, has become a feature of the United and England squads and is widely regarded as one of the country’s most promising young players.
The 18-year old has recently showed off clear braces in training after undergoing dental checks during pre-season. New manager, Jose Mourinho insisted that all players be checked out by a visiting dental hygienist and shortly afterwards, the Manchester-born striker was spotted with his new braces.
It’s understood that the teenager has been the subject of friendly training ground banter from senior players, but he’s looking forward to enjoying the results of his treatment.
Mourinho is renowned for his devotion to player health and welfare and he also insisted on routine dental checks during his time at Chelsea. Recent investigations have shown that dental problems are rife among sports players and this is a step forward to promoting good oral health. Numerous studies have established a link between poor oral health and general health complications, including heart disease and diabetes, so it’s positive that the Manchester United coach is taking an interest and making oral health a priority.
Marcus Rashford is not the only high-profile name to turn to clear braces. It is believed that celebrities including Justin Bieber, Tom Cruise and Miley Cyrus have all had innovative orthodontic treatment to achieve their perfect pearly whites.
