A dental practice in Alwoodley, Leeds, has joined a local campaign run by the Yorkshire Post to raise funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

In celebration of the arrival of the world’s greatest cyclists in July, businesses and local people are being encouraged to wear yellow for the day to raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. The first stage of the Tour de France will be kicking off in Leeds and Primley Park Dentistry has become the latest local firm to back Wear it Yellow Day.

The event will take place on the 3rd July and everyone who wears yellow will be contributing to a great cause. The staff team will be wearing yellow outfits, there will be yellow decorations everywhere and even yellow refreshments and the practice will donate £5 to the cause for every patient that wears yellow.

The Yorkshire Post is encouraging as many people as possible to support the cause as a means of celebrating the Tour de France in Yorkshire and raising funds for a really important local service.

Practice manager, Joanna Hobson, said that the team loved the idea of everyone in Yorkshire painting the county yellow for a day to celebrate the start of the Tour de France and they are looking to spread the word and get as many people involved as possible.
