Knowlsey Dental Manufacturer Plans To Expand After Securing Funds
A dental manufacturing firm in Knowsley is planning to expand after securing funding from the Merseyside Special Investment Fund.
Thermadent, which manufactures a large range of orthodontics supplies, is planning to expand after receiving a grant worth £20,000 from MSIF.
Thermadent was established in 2011 and is managed by qualified dental technician, Matthew Garnett and marketing and customer services expert, Mark Williams.
The duo will use the loan to buy new equipment and increase the range of products; the company will also recruit three more members of staff over the coming months.
Mr Williams said that the first few months had been spent setting up the laboratory and building up a client list and the extra money will now enable expansion, investment in extra members of staff and state of the art technology and equipment.
Chris Walters, investment manager at MSIF, said that Thermadent was a “great example” of a small, local business with a bright future.
