King Khan opens dental clinic
Bolton boxer Amir Khan flashed his pearly white teeth when he opened a new dental clinic in his hometown.
The world champ was all smiles as he the cut ribbon at the new Trinity Street Sainsbury’s dental practice in Bolton.
The Bolton News reported that the supermarket filled a niche by opening this surgery as it now means that people can get their teeth checked while doing their shopping.
This practice follows similar clinics which are already established in Sainsbury’s stores in Denton, Heaton Park and Sale.
Celebrity dentist Dr Lance Knight, who has treated Amir in the past, set up this concept in 2008.
Amir told the newspaper that Dr Knight had done some tremendous work on his teeth, calling it “a knock out”.
The boxer added that he was pleased to be opening the clinic, as it would give local people greater access to dental care and cosmetic dentistry.
Store manager Mark Lilley said that the surgery would be a valuable resource for the community and remarked that all the customers at his supermarket were delighted at seeing Amir.
