A dental team from Kidderminster will be hosting a series of charity events in aid of KEMP Hospice.

Staff members from Cleobury Dental Practice are running a raffle and a bake-off competition on Thursday March 1st to raise money as part of the hospice’s ‘Cuppa for KEMP’ campaign. The raffle includes prizes donated by local MP, Philip Dunne and the Elms Hotel. A local councillor will assume the role of Mary Berry and judge the entries to crown the bake-off winner.

The Cuppa for KEMP fundraising project will see a number of local businesses and individuals taking part in events and activities over the course of the next four weeks.

Elisabeth Smith, community fundraiser at the hospice, said that it’s brilliant that local businesses in Kidderminster like Cleobury Dental Practice have offered their support and contributing to the fundraising drive. The hospice is aiming to raise £1,000,000 to continue providing care free of charge for patients with life-limiting health conditions. The charity provides vital support for patients, as well as their relatives.

Anyone who wishes to organise their own Cuppa for KEMP event or find out more about the charity or the work it does to help local patients and their families, is advised to check the website www.kemphospice.org.uk/news/cuppaforkemp.
