Jury Awards Millions in Dental Negligence CaseA Lawton dentist, who failed to give a woman antibiotics for a severely infection tooth before he extracted it, was found negligent by a Comanche County jury. The jury awarded $2.6 million dollars to the dead woman’s husband. The woman died in January, 2004, of complications after the tooth extraction. Linda Culverson spent time in the hospital before dying of the complications. The dentist could appeal the verdict.
