James Mcavoy becomes latest star to undergo dental work
Scottish actor James McAvoy is the latest celebrity to undergo dental treatment.
The actor, who starred in hit Channel 4 series, Shameless and blockbuster films including Atonement and The Last King of Scotland, had previously dismissed suggestions that he should have treatment to fix his crooked teeth but he has been spotted sporting a new smile recently.
McAvoy has followed legions of fellow celebrities and had his teeth straightened and whitened; in the last few years, numerous stars, including Tom Cruise, Justin Bieber, Cheryl Cole and Jessie J have all admitted having dental treatment to give them an A-list worthy smile.
Speaking to the Scottish newspaper, Sunday Mail, a source close to McAvoy said that the transformation was very subtle and the actor has not opted to go for the ultra-white, glossy Hollywood smile.
