Implants 'remove denture discomfort'

Implants 'remove denture discomfort'Dental implants can remove the discomfort from dentures, it has been claimed.

Bill Dunn told news10now.com that he found it very difficult to eat while wearing dentures and that he was very conscious of them all the time.

However, a three-part procedure which places two dental implants in the front area of the lower jaw has changed all that.

Dr Jans Malmstrom of Eastman Dental Centre inserted two titanium implants into Mr Dunn's upper and lower jaw which locked the dentures in place.

Mr Dunn claimed he is extremely happy with the treatment and can even remove the dentures for cleaning.

"No discomfort, nothing," he said. "You can live a normal life - you don't have to worry about going out and eating. Or anything like that. It just works well."

According to the Yellow Pages Association, dentists are searched for at least 246 million times a year in the US, giving it a ranking of eight out of over 4,000 possible search terms.ADNFCR-1374-ID-18623289-ADNFCR
