Hungary the Most Popular Destination for British Dental Tourists
A survey has revealed that Hungary is the most popular destination for British dental tourists.
The survey, which was carried out by medical tourism website, Treatment Abroad, revealed that 38% of participants travelled to Hungary for dental treatment. Belgium was the most popular destination for UK medical patients with Hungary and Poland in second and third place respectively.
Hungary was also the most popular destination for obesity surgery, while Spain topped the list for UK couples seeking fertility treatment.
More than 1,000 people took part in the survey and the vast majority of people said that they would happily go abroad for treatment again. 90 percent said they would go abroad for treatment again and 84 percent said they would go to the same doctor or dentist.
Just over half of participants travelled to a country they had never been to before for treatment. More than 80 percent of patients said that cost was the main reason for travelling abroad, while dental patients also mentioned the advantage of being able to combine a holiday with treatment. Obesity and fertility patients revealed that travelling abroad was beneficial to avoid waiting lists in the UK.

This is true, I work in a company related to dental tourism which is on the market since 7years. Its true that it seems that people in the UK search less for treatmetn abroad than previously but if they do they want to come to Hungary.
