Has Abbey Clancy had a brace?

Abbey Clancy may have had orthodontic treatment to improve her smile, it has been revealed.

The 22-year-old was photographed leaving the Dental Excellence surgery in Liverpool last week, reported the Sunday People.

However, instead of giving her usual smile to the awaiting photographers, the Liverpudlian model hid her mouth behind a rainbow-coloured handbag.

When asked why she did not want to show her teeth, she claimed that she had been fitted with a brace.

The newspaper stated that it could have just been a joke, however, and the claim has not yet been confirmed or denied.

Clancy originally rose to stardom in 2006 as a contestant on Living TV's Britain's Next Top Model. Although she lost out in the final leg of the reality competition she went on to find fame on Abbey and Janice: Beauty and the Best and has since featured on Hell's Kitchen.
