Growth in Dental Implant Courses

Sample News Big

Many more dentists in Britain are attending courses relating to dental implants. In fact according to one of the leading providers of these courses the number of dentists attending has trebled in just one year.

The courses which are run by Dentale are aimed at practicing dentists in the West Midland and South West of England although dentists attending often come from further afield. They are also hands on. The courses themselves range from a basic introduction lasting 5 days to more advanced implant courses lasting as long as 10 days.

Speaking with reporters, Debbie Snelson, Group Manager for Dentale said: “Our courses really do offer delegates the hands-on, surgical experience they crave, which is why they are becoming increasingly popular within the industry.”

Dentale offers a variety of dental courses covering a range of topics including treatment of sinus lifts and soft tissue augmentation; some courses are tailored to dental nurses and not just dentists.

Debbie Snelson added: “Unlike other implantology training courses, dentists are guaranteed to work on patients from initial diagnosis, right through to implant placement and restoration. Under the supervision of our vastly experienced course tutors, dentists undertaking our advanced course will place at least 15 – and in many cases up to 25 – implants, giving them the clinical time they need to perfect their skills.”

“For concise, relevant, professional instruction and the invaluable hands-on surgical experience which this course gives, it really is a must for any dentist wishing to start placing implants successfully and safely. It really does get you past the fear factor!”
