Grimsby residents get increased access to dental care
A new primary care centre will open in Grimsby on Monday 2 November 2009.
The £5.2million Cromwell Primary Care Centre will house a community dental clinic, four GP practices, a breast cancer screening service and a surgery suit.
Situated on Cromwell Road, the centre has 114 rooms and will provide care to around 10,000 local patients.
The new centre also has excellent disabled access and more than 80 parking spaces.
Dr Rajeshwar Kumar, one of the centre’s GPs, said that Cromwell Primary Care was very impressive and patients were already commenting on how smart it looks.
He added that the centre is in a fantastic place as its on the main bus route and said it will create links between the other health care centres in the area.
The aim of the centre is to take the weight of several services from the local hospital because many patients feel prefer a GP environment.
