Gappy teeth are the new fashion
Gappy teeth are the worlds new fashion accessories if according to advertisers.
Chanel and Rimmel are both launching campaigns featuring gap-tooth models, with Georgia Jagger, The Rolling Stones singer’s daughter, grinning for Rimmel, and the French actress Vanessa Paradis will now smiling for Chanel.
Both of these models have also appeared in vogue recently too. So why are wonky teeth the new trend in fashion?
Adriana Ermter, Fashion magazine’s beauty director, believes that gappy teeth are just another random twist of fate which photographers have latched onto and doesn’t think millions of women will be going to the dentist to expand the spaces between their teeth.
She added that all the gap-toothed trend is saying is that you don’t have to be a 6ft blue-eyed blonde with a perfect smile to make the cover of fashion magazines.
In modern society anyone can have perfect teeth thanks to caps, implants, whitening and veneers so maybe this trend is a rebellion against that?
