Fire Fighters Called To St Alban’s Dental Practice

Fire fighters were called to a dental practice in St Alban’s on Tuesday evening.

Fire crews were called after the smoke alarm started going off at around 10.30pm. The building, which is located on St Peter’s Street, was filled with smoke and fire crews had to break into the practice to gain entry and bring the situation under control.

The smoke had started billowing around the building as a result of a water cooler over-heating.

Crews disconnected the water cooler and then spent around one hour tackling the smoke and clearing the building. Nobody was harmed in the incident and fire fighters left the practice at around 11.30pm.
