A dental team in Exmouth has shared photographs of a teddy bear, which was left at their surgery at the end of last month (September), having dental treatment in a bid to track down its owner.

The small brown bear, which has been snapped having an X-ray and a routine check-up, was left behind by a patient at Fairfield House Dental Surgery, and the team are using social media to try and find its owner. Dentists believe the bear was brought into the practice on either the 20th or 21st September, and they have shared a series of photos of the teddy undergoing treatment at the surgery to try and find its owner.

The most recent post has a picture of ‘ted’ accompanied by a message saying that he misses his owner and is desperate to be reunited. If the bear isn’t claimed in the coming days, there’s also a note saying that the practice manager will take him home during half-term to give him a wash before returning him to the surgery.

Anyone who recognises ted or is missing a bear in the Exmouth area is encouraged to contact reception on 01395 263 225.
