Excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry event announced
The US is to host the world’s most comprehensive cosmetic dental event – Excellence in Cosmetic Dentistry 2008 – in May.
According to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), the event will take place from May 6th -10th in New Orleans, Lousiana.
Over 150 educational courses will be available, alongside lectures, hands-on workshops and other networking events.
Course include the first ever AACD Synergy Summit – a session on dentist and lab technician teamwork focusing on minimal preparation veneers, Customer Service Excellence: Taking it to the Next Level and Fundamental Criteria for a Perfect Aesthetic Integration which outlines implant development and computer-aided technology.
The AACD has over 8,000 members in 70 different countries and has just celebrated its record growth for a fifth consecutive year, attributing its success to the "overall boom" in the industry.
At the New Orleans event, new members of the organisation will be welcomed inthe AACD Awards ceremony.
