Eden dental duo welcomes new couple to the practice

A dental duo, which has worked tirelessly to bring their practice back from the brink following storm damage, is preparing to welcome a new couple to the dental team. Richard and Barbara Govan have dedicated a huge amount of time and effort to getting Tufton Cottage Dental Practice back on track after Storm Desmond battered the building two years ago, and now they are gearing up to welcome a new pair of dental professionals to the team.

Barbara and Richard were visiting friends when they got a call to tell them the Appleby practice they had spent decades building up had been badly damaged by Storm Desmond. That was two years ago, and after a hard time trying to patch the property up following heavy flooding, the dynamic duo is now preparing to start winding down. The new and improved practice is set to welcome another couple, William Crank and Rhianna Homer. William and Rhianna met while studying dentistry in Sheffield and had heard about the opportunity to work with the Govan’s while visiting old university friends in Eden. They have always loved this part of the world and are now looking forward to starting work at Tufton Cottage.

With William and Rhianna on board, Richard is planning to start cutting his hours and will work 2 days a week.
