Duchess of Cambridge Tops Best Smile List
The Duchess of Cambridge has beaten off competition from Hollywood actors and pop stars to top a poll of the best celebrity smiles.
The Duchess claimed the top spot in front of Cheryl Cole and Britain’s Got Talent judge, Alesha Dixon, who came second and third respectively. Pop stars Jessie J and Beyonce came in fourth and fifth place.
Top Gear presenter, Richard Hammond, British model, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and award-winning actors, Colin Firth and Tom Cruise, completed the top 10.
The poll, which was conducted by Bupa, revealed that most people prefer the natural look championed by Catherine Middleton, rather than the ultra-white, Hollywood smile.
Controversial rock star Pete Doherty topped the poll for the worst celebrity smile, with comedian Alan Carr, iconic model Kate Moss and boxer Mike Tyson, also appearing in the top 5.
The survey also showed that the majority of people feel having an attractive smile helps you to go further in life, 63 percent of people saying that an unattractive smile can stop you from finding a partner and more than half of respondents agreeing that a good smile can help you get a better job.
