Disappointing Sales Slump for Dental Firm, 3D Diagnostics

Sample News Big

After positive figures for the first period of last year, dental diagnostics firm, 3D Diagnostics has reported a significant decline in revenues for the second half of 2011.

Representatives from 3D Diagnostic have reported a “period of mixed fortunes” with figures from the second half of the year indicating a decrease in revenues of more than 80 percent. During the six month period ending on the 31st December the firm reported figures of £67,700, a decrease of more than 80 percent from £565,700 during the same period the previous year.

David Snow, company chairman, said that the decline in revenues was down to difficulty achieving “any meaningful level of sales traction” during the last half of the year.

Despite the decrease in revenue the firm’s pre-tax loss for the year was similar to the previous year and the figure for 2010 was £981,000 compared to £987,000 for 2011.

However, the firm has also reported signs of improvement this year thanks to changes in the marketing and sales strategy.
