The staff at a Fakenham dental practice are all smiles after receiving recognition for its high clinical standards and outstanding customer relations.

After months of assessment and hard work, Brooklyn House Dental Practice has been awarded the Denplan Excel accreditation.

The programme is designed to help dentists develop stronger relationships with their patients and is the first of its kind to be approved by the Patients’ Association.

Principal dentist Stephan Malherbe said the team is extremely proud to achieve such an accreditation and Excel assures patients that Brooklyn House Dental Practice provide industry best practice and the highest possible standards of clinical care.

He said that not only has the accreditation resulted from months of assessments and hard work, it also gives the practice’s patients a helpful benchmark of where the team stands in relation to other dental clinics.

As part of the Denplan Excel accreditation, all practices must undertake a thorough inspection to make sure they adhere to the practice recommendations set by the dental profession. The scheme also makes sure patients are given comprehensible information about their treatment and are always involved in decisions about the future care of their oral health.

Stephan has worked in the dental industry for more than 20 years. He said the accreditation is a testament to his team’s commitment and positive attitude. He was thankful to practice manager Diane Robb and all the staff at the practice for their hard work and support.
