Columnist performs Botox u-turn

Columnist performs Botox u-turnBotox is not just for celebrities, according to Sunday Times columnist India Knight.

The writer has been an outspoken critic of the treatment in the past, but explained that as time passed she came to understand why so many people opt to have it.

In fact, her views on the subject have changed to such an extent that she has now started to have the injections herself.

Ms Knight claimed that her friends were surprised by her decision, but that their response to how she looked afterwards was overwhelmingly positive.

She now firmly believes that minor cosmetic work, such as having teeth fixed or Botox, is worth considering for anyone who is unhappy about the way they look.

"You have nothing to lose but your decrepitude and nothing to be embarrassed about whatsoever. Normal people have work done, too. And no, it doesn't hurt," Ms Knight concluded.

Among the celebrities to have admitted to benefiting from Botox are Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden.ADNFCR-1374-ID-18619320-ADNFCR
