Co Antrim Dental Firm to Create New Jobs Following Relocation
A dental firm based in County Antrim is creating a host of new jobs following relocation to a new site.
Galgorm Dental is moving to the stunning grounds of Galgorm Castle this month, creating opportunities for new members to join the team. The current staff team includes 5 employees, but this is set to increase significantly once the firm has opened in the grounds. The firm was set up by dentists Alan Crockett, Dougie Thom and Chris Gocher.
Mr Gocher explained the reason for the move, saying that the trio had spotted a gap in the market for affordable cosmetic dental treatment in the area and the chance to expand the business was too good to turn down. The team has invested a significant sum of money in the development, but the result has been worth the effort. The modern facility features all the latest equipment and offers patients the chances to receive first class care and the latest treatments in a beautiful and unique setting.
The relocation was made possible by a business loan granted by Ulster Bank.
Initially, there will be three dentists working on site with two members of support staff, but this will rise in line with demand in the future and the team is hoping to increase the number of surgeries, enabling them to take on two more dentists and additional members of support staff.
