Producers of the ITV hit show ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here’ were rocked by a last minute scare last night when boxer Chris Eubank required emergency dental treatment.

The boxer, who has reportedly spent more than £30,000 on his smile in the past, required emergency dental treatment for a broken crown just minutes before entering the famous jungle camp.

The production crew suffered a 2-hour delay, but after seeing a dentist, Mr Eubank was ready to board a helicopter and fly into camp.

The new series of the hit reality show, hosted by Ant and Dec, launched on Sunday night. Speaking to the press before the launch, Mr Eubank said that he was looking forward to the challenge and hoped that people would take him as he was.

Other contestants include Dragon’s Den’s Duncan Bannatyne, Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter, Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley and retired footballer Kieron Dyer. The group of 10 celebrities will spend the next few weeks in the Australian jungle overcoming their fears and competing for the title of King or Queen of the Jungle 2015.
