Centre for Dentistry, which operates 25 dental clinics located in Sainsbury’s stores across the country, has been awarded a national customer service gong. The firm beat off competition to be awarded the Patient Service Award 2017 by WhatClinic.com.

The healthcare search engine produced a shortlist based on analysis of data submitted by users over the last 12 months. Centre for Dentistry was among just 2 percent of clinics that qualified for the award. The gong recognises excellence in customer service and communication. Representatives from WhatClinic.com used feedback, user reviews and contact rates from clinics to determine the winners.

Lisa Riley, chief executive of Centre for Dentistry, said that everyone at the chain is “delighted” to win the award, as it recognises efforts to provide customers with the best possible standards of service. The firm ranks patient care as its number one priority and Ms Riley said that it was of paramount importance to ensure that customers have a positive experience during their time at Centre for Dentistry clinics. The fact that patients have left such positive feedback is testament to the ethos of the company and the industry and commitment of the professionals it employs.
