The owners of a Carmarthen dental practice have confirmed plans to relocate to a new site. The move will enable the practice to expand, and create new jobs.

Deintyddfa Emlyn will move from its current location in at the GP centre in Lloyd’s Terrace, Adpar, to a new site in Church Lane. The move has been made possible by funding from Carmarthenshire Rural Enterprise Fund. The practice was awarded a grant worth £128,000.

The owners of the practice, Neil and Arwel Jones, took the reins in 2011, and they are now looking forward to opening a fresh new dental centre, which caters for the demands of the modern dental patient. The new site was previously used as a day centre, and the duo has grand plans to refresh and revamp the premises.

There are plans to create eight full-time jobs, as well as a part-time position.

The practice is the second venture to benefit from the fund, which was set up to create jobs and boost business and growth in the local area.

The owners said that they were thrilled to receive assistance from the fund, and they are looking forward to creating a brand new, state of the art practice, which will benefit local patients, and create new jobs.
