Canadian Dentist Travels 5,000 Miles For Love
A Canadian dentist has travelled almost 5,000 miles after falling in love with an Irish woman he met for just two minutes more than a year ago.
Sandy Crocker left Canada in pursuit of love after falling for an Irish woman in a café in County Clare in July last year. Although he only spoke to the red-haired woman for two minutes, he was never able to forget her and decided to embark upon a journey to find her.
Sandy met the woman with his brother in An Teach Bia Café on July 9th last year. He asked her for directions to the Cliffs of Moher and had a brief chat with her, but for the rest of the day, he could not get her out of his head and he decided to look for her around the town later that day. Unfortunately Sandy could not find the woman and he returned to Canada the day after.
Over a year later, Sandy took the plunge and decided to travel back to Ireland to spend a month looking for the mystery woman; he said that it was a “shot in the dark” but believed that the couple would meet again if it was meant to be.
Sandy has been interviewed by the Clare People and he is hoping that he will bump into his long lost love again.
