Businessmen seek bright smiles in the boardroom

Businessmen seek bright smiles in the boardroomThere has been a "big" uptake in cosmetic dentistry treatments by Liverpool men, it has been revealed.

Speaking to the Liverpool Daily Post, Merseyside dentist Ian Buckle claimed that cosmetic dentistry has largely been a female habit, but times are changing.

He explained that businessmen are increasingly seeking his services to make a good impression in the boardroom.

"From a business point of view, there is a lot of research that people with nice smiley faces do better than their less smiley colleagues," said Dr Buckle.

"People in business meetings are often wondering how people are judging them," he added, explaining that people who are confident about their teeth are confident in meetings.

Dr Buckle told the newspaper that he offers a range of services to businessmen including teeth whitening and invisible braces.

A study by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry found that individuals who have attractive teeth are generally judged as more intelligent than those who do not.ADNFCR-1374-ID-18583170-ADNFCR
