Burnley Dental Practice Celebrates Award Success
The team from Ravat and Ray Dental Care in Burnley are celebrating after a successful night at the Dental Awards 2014.
Practice manager, Sharon Fletcher, was all smiles after winning the Practice Manager of the Year award, while Paula Garandia was a runner-up in the Receptionist of the Year category. The practice was also one of few clinics nominated for the Dental Team of the Year award.
The awards, which are affectionately known as the dental Oscars, were handed out at a ceremony at Lancaster Hotel in Hyde Park.
Mrs Fletcher said that it is an honour for the practice to be nominated for awards, especially as there has been so much positive feedback about the standards of dental care and the efforts made by staff members to make patients feel comfortable. Many patients who previously avoided the dentist due to dental anxiety now feel comfortable going to see the dentists at Ravat and Ray and this represents a major achievement for the team.
Judges for the award won by Mrs Fletcher highlighted her commitment to making patients feel reassured and relaxed and praised the work she does for local charities, while Mrs Garandia was highly commended for her warm and compassionate nature.
