Bupa Takes Over Sheffield Dental Practice
A dental practice in Sheffield has been taken over by one of the UK’s leading insurance providers, Bupa.
The 3SL Dental Centre, which is located on Norfolk Row in the city centre, has been taken over by Bupa as part of their expansion plans. The firm is planning to open a string of new private dental clinics across the UK over the next five years.
Dr Jennie Ward, a dentist at the practice, said that feedback in the early stages from patients has been very positive and the team is very excited about the takeover. Joining Bupa will allow the practice to offer a wider range of treatments and enhance the reputation of the surgery, which is already excellent.
3SL opened in Sheffield city centre in 2010 and features a specially designed interior, which is designed to relax anxious patients and those who suffer from dental phobia.
Bupa revealed plans to expand its dental business last year and has already opened a brand new clinic in Holborn,Central London. The firm also has several private dental centres in Spain and Australia.
