Brave wedding singer finishes set despite breaking tooth

A determined wedding singer finished his set despite suffering a broken tooth, it has been revealed. Sam Johnson, lead singer of The Sound, cracked his tooth on a piece of crackling, but bravely soldiered on to complete the set at a wedding in Polperro, Cornwall.
Mr Johnson suffered the injury whilst enjoying a hog roast. His molar was hanging from the gum, but he didn’t let it ruin the night. After downing a drink, he bravely endured a DIY dental procedure carried out by bandmates, who carefully removed the tooth with a pair of pliers.
Bassist Aaron Morgan explained that the band was just about to go on stage at the reception when the incident happened. Drummer, Tristan Fry, volunteered to remove the tooth while the other members offered Sam some moral support.
The tooth was badly cracked and Sam wouldn’t have been able to sing if it had remained in place. With no time to see a dentist, the band decided that the only option was to take the tooth out and they found some pliers in the back of the van. Ordinarily, DIY dentistry wouldn’t have been the best option, but Sam was desperate not to let the couple down.
