A dental team from Boston is all smiles after raising thousands of pounds for a good cause; the team from the Private Dental Centre has completed a series of fundraising activities to raise cash for Parkinson’s UK.

Over the course of the last year, members of staff at the practice have tested their physical abilities to the maximum by taking part in marathons, grueling cycling challenges and mountain treks to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, a charity, which provides care and support for people with Parkinson’s disease and their families and carers.

Between then, the team has successfully completed the London, Edinburgh and Seabank marathons, the Three Peaks challenge and various cycle routes around the UK and they have raised £5,500 for the charity.

Members of the team include Sally Pedley, Nicola Priestley, Gill Greig, Sarah Noe, Tracey Edwards and Kenny Doig.

The staff thanked patients, friends, family members and colleagues for their kind donations and support through the challenges and said they were delighted to be able to hand over such a large sum of money to such a worthy cause.
