Bond Villain Jaws To Star In Dental Implant Ad

Richard Kiel, the actor who played notorious Bond villain, Jaws, is set to star in an advert for a dental implant company.

Jaws is one of the most iconic Bond characters of all time and the link to the dental world comes in the villain’s appearance, one of the reasons Jaws was so terrifying was his metal mouth. Instead of revealing pearly whites, when Jaws opened his mouth he showed off a mouth full of metal.

Kiel, who is instantly recognisable for his height, said that he has tried all kinds of disguises, but still gets recognised in the street all these years later. He is now 71 but said that his wife keeps him young; he has six grandchildren and is in good shape. He joked that he would like to take on Daniel Craig, the current Bond, saying that he is fit and strong, but Jaws would fancy his luck, as he is much taller and would catch him in his long arms.

The 7ft 2 star, who is spending some time in the UK, is one of Bond’s most well-known baddies and he is preparing to visit Portsmouth to meet and greet fans at a memorabilia event on Saturday May 25th. He will be joined by his on-screen wife, Blanche Revalac, who played Dolly.

In an interview with the local press, Kiel said that he was looking forward to spending time in the UK and was grateful for the opportunity to travel. He will be appearing at the Mountbatten Centre in Portsmouth from 10am until 5pm on Saturday 25th May and tickets cost £5 for adults and £3 for children.
