Barnstaple Dental Practice Sets Standard For Facial Aesthetics With Save Face Accreditation

Sample News Big

A dental practice in Barnstaple has become one of the first in the UK to receive Save Face accreditation.
A Save Face commendation recognises high safety standards and clinical excellence related to the provision of facial aesthetic treatments, including fillers and Botox.

Mydentist Barnstaple is one of the first 20 practices in the country to receive Save Face recommendation.

Facial treatments can legally be provided by anyone with training. However, Save Face aims to provide consumers with information about clinics and dental practices that meet certain standards in order to encourage patients to use approved services. Although there is currently a lack of regulation in this area, experts are calling for more stringent measures to be introduced to protect the public and new proposals are under consideration. In order to achieve Save Face recommendation, clinics must meet high standards of customer service, clinical treatment and patient care.

Rehanna Beckhurst, a dentist at Mydentist Barnstaple, said that Save Face accreditation is very important in an industry that is under-regulated and shows consumers that they can trust the provider.

Save Face is only open to registered, qualified health professionals, including dentists, nurses and doctors.
