Atherton dental lab to create new jobs after securing funding boost
A dental laboratory based in Atherton, Greater Manchester, is creating new jobs after securing additional funding. Premplus Dental Labs has secured a six-figure loan from the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF), which will facilitate the purchase of new equipment and enable the firm to hire more staff members.
Premplus Dental Labs provide an array of services and products to dental practices all over the country and the investment will enable the company to invest in new equipment and expand the staff team. The current range of services includes custom-made crowns and bridges, implantology, prosthodontics and orthodontics.
Owner and manager of the firm, Paul Leung, said that FW Capital, which is responsible for overseeing the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund, understood the opportunities Premplus has to expand its digital services and make a bigger splash in the digital market and the fund was keen to support growth plans.
Director of British Business Bank, Grant Peggie, commented that Premplus Dental Labs was exactly the type of venture the NPIF was created to support, and Loz O’Connor, from FW Capital, stated that the fund was “delighted” to provide funding for a local business, which is keen to take advantage of opportunities in a growing market.
