Default Dentists Please Help!!!measurements for crowns

I got measured for crowns yesterday and my dentist mesured them twice. The second time she said she wanted me to have more of a space in my Bite Gap so that's why she measures it the second time around. what did she mean by this.

THis doesn't mean my caps will have a gap/space in them? My teeth were Naturally gap and I really want them corrected. Is there any chance i might have a space?

thank you
