what is the best method for straightening my very crooked teeth

I have sucked my thumb since i was young and only recently given up.As a result of this my two front teeth have a gap between them and as i have stopped them growing they do not meet my bottom teeth and stick out.They are also in bad condition.What would you reccommend to be the best plan of action for me?Please help!!
