Hi, I have an appointment with a cosmetic dentist next week to discuss all my options for straightening my upper front teeth. One of my front teeth is moving back and the one next to it sticks out by about 35 degrees, the rest are fine. I have my fingers crossed that I will be suitable for an inman alligner but I cannot help having doubts that something that sounds so simple will straighten my teeth and that they will stay straight! I was told by my nhs dentist, who also fits braces for mild to moderste cases, that he could not straighten my teeth and that I would have to see a specialist and would probably need a metal brace on my bottom teeth as well as the top, even though my bottom teeth are straight. I did not think that my teeth were that bad!! it's only the 2 teeth that are crooked! As a result of the information I was given I cannot help but have my doubts about an Inman Alligner successfully straightening my teeth.
I would apreciate feedback from anybody who has had there teeth successfully straightened with and Inman Alligner.

It is impossible to say from a description whether you are suitable or not, but dentists who have not used the system or are inexperienced with it will have no idea of its capabilities or limitations.

Make sure the cosmetic dentist you are seeing is a certified Inman Aligner dentist.

Hi, many thanks for your reply, the dentist I have an appointment with is listed on the cosmetic dentist web site and also uses Invisalign and six months smile treatments, I will follow your advise and check that he is certified to use these treatments before commiting myself to any treatment.

Hi again,
I have now had my consultation, my dentist recommended a six months smile brace to straighten my teeth. I should have my brace fitted by the end of May and it should take about 8 months. I am so exited!! I cannot believe that after years of being unhappy with my teeth I am finally going to have them straightened.
