considering inman for overbite but worried will it last

hi im new to the forum ive got an upper overbite where my front four teeth stick out i think this was caused with tongue thrusting when i was younger i would like it fixed so it would make me smile and alot happier i went to two inman aligner dentists the first wasnt very nice and said it wouldnt work and a waste of time and my teeth were crowded which really upset me so i went to another and he was alot nicer said it would work as theres gaps between my teeth and he could reduce my bite by 80 percent im not looking for a hollywood smile just my smile to look better but i read that teeth that have been alignered and go back to there position really quick and im worried that if spend the money getting it done it wont last for very long .

after your treatment the dentist will give you a retainer either a fixed retainer or a removable one to wear at night and this will prevent your teeth from moving back after the treatment provided that you use the retainer
