Default Inman Aligner Advice?

Hi.

Due to sucking my thumb a lot when I was younger , it has affected the position of my teeth today.

The above has caused a gap between my Incisor and Front Two Teeth and also pushed The Incisor out slightly.

Also , the Front Four and Canine's have an overbite.

I apprieciate no one has seen my teeth and jaw to make an assumption which is fair enough , but I'm wondering if it sounds like this treatment could work for me ?

Thanks for your time.

Justin.

Hi Justin. Quite often the habit causes a bite that can only be corrected with fixed braces. However there are certain cases which can be corrected with the Inman aligner. We would only be able to advise further with a full consultation

I hope this helps

Kindest regards

Hello Justin

By the sounds of it, you may just require some tiliting of your teeth to close the gap between your front two teeth. This can be achieved with the inman aligner. however,With its limitations, there are many more options available to you as well as the fixed braces mentioned by Dr Khaira.

You can try invisalign which can work out quite cost effective as it will treat both the upper and the lower arches as the same time. The inman will treat one arch at a time due to patient compliance.

I hope this is useful
