Hot drinks with Inman Aligner tea or coffee

Can I drink tea or coffee with the Inman Aligner in my mouth?

I thought you couldn't drink tea or coffee with it as the heat may distort the aligner? I hope I'm wrong as it would make my life much easier if you could.

As long as the tea is not too hot it should not be a problem. If you have any concerns it would always be best to leave it out.

I have had numerous patients who have left the aligner in for tea and not had any major issues but do remember that if you do so it is at your own risk

It must always be removed to eat

To be safe make sure the drinks are not too hot or just remove the aligner when drinking hot beverages. I would also make sure that you do not drink too many hot drinks that could stain your aligner such as black coffee or red wine whilst you have the inman Aligner in your mouth
