Question khaki

Hi I hope someone can give me some advice.

I am 42 have had gum disease on and off for a few years, due to this I had to have 2 back teeth removed leaving an obvius gap when I smile.

Now however I have noticed the tooth next to the gap is loose now and I am PETRIFIED that I will loose it and more as my gums have receded and my teeth have "dropped" somewhat.

What I want to know is what if my gums dont heal up ?.does that mean I cant be treated with implants etc?

What happens if I do loose more teeth ,does the dentist fit temporary ones to hide the gaps?

My own dentist isnt very forthcoming with suggestions.

lastly too young or unsitable for dentures?

Any advice gratefully received
