Ok so i have a gap because i was not born with out two teeth on either side near my canine's. Due to this my canines have moved in the place where those two teeth need to be. On the left side i still have my baby canine hagging by a thread and on the bottom right i have a missing tooth due to a tooth being extracted. I saw many othrodontist and they suggested different things. One suggested i put braces on the top to open the spaces where i am missing my two teeth and eventually everything will come together and place implants in the two top spaces. the bottom will eventually need braces also and an implant for the missing tooth. Another said he would do the same proceedure but just place one implant on the left side and one at the bottom. I also have a little bit of a chipped tooth. Is this my only option? Is braces my only option? Can i get veneers, bridges, etc:confused::confused:

Invisalign a possibility?

Hi! A little history to begin with::
1)I had braces from 14-16 and wore a retainer until my dentist told me that I didn't need to wear one anymore. Of course, then my bottom teeth became crooked and the gap between my front teeth, which had been closed, opened again.
2) I then had to have a root canal and surgery for an abscess (bottom jaw) which caused one tooth to die and the one next to it to have a shorter root.
3)At 21, I had braces again only on the top to correct the diastema and still have a fixed retainer to keep it closed.
4) Recently I got a crown on the dead bottom tooth because it had turned a nasty shade of black (internal bleaching had not lasted).

NOW, I am thinking of having braces/invisalign again because I have an anterior open bite (minimal) and my teeth only bite down on the right side. Is this possible or even a good idea considering I already have one crown and one shortened root?

Thanks,

Crooked Bottom Teeth - Seeking advice

Hello,

As you can see from the images, I have some bad crooked teeth.
I had braces when I was in around 6th grade, and foolishly did not wear my retainers as directed.
This caused my front lower teeth to slowly but gradually drift, overlap, and ultimately become like the photos.
I am 24 years old now and I eventually just came to accept having crooked teeth, but now am very tired of it as it causes me mild speech problems as well as self confidence issues in regard to carrying on conversations.

I would immensely like to get my lower teeth straitened and looking good again and I am wondering what my options are. Someone I know mentioned a possible solution is completely removing the front tooth, then aligning the ones behind it?Would this be my best solution, or would it be possible to straighten them with invisalign or braces? I would like to hear all options you might think I have.
I would greatly appreciate this.

Thank you
