Default Not sure if this is the right place

Hi I am new to the forum, having been searching for the answer to my question I came across your site and decided to ask my question.

One of my back teeth had some of the tooth break off, back and side, so my dentist filled it. Everything was ok but a few days later I felt like my front teeth were moving, I rang him and went back. He said because of the filling at the back I was getting used to a new bite, but he filed it down some more and said that it would just take a while to get used to it and the front teeth once they were in a position would settle down and would not click together as much or wobble (they are a little) but I think it is worse cos you can feel it. Was just wondering how long it would take to settle the teeth into a position, he redone this tooth last week and the front teeth are still clicking and slightly moving and it is doing my head in a little. I know it takes time but can anyone say roughly how long!!!

Thanx

sounds a bit micky mouse to me... your dentist should not effectively be doing orthodontic movement to your teeth unless this is deliberate. i would advise you return to your dentist or seek a second opinion
