Hi everyone
I was just looking for advice on orthodontics when I stumbled upon this website and after realising how useful it would be to get "direct" advice from dentists online I decided to join! I never realised how fascinating dentistry could be! I always dismissed it as boring, now I'm really interested! I'm studying science at university, maybe after this I might venture into graduate dentistry if its possible with my degree (if anyone has any tips/facts about graduate dentistry feel free to pm me!. Anyway, hello again and I look forward to discussing my dental problems ![]() Last edited by ToothyNess : 04-23-2008 at 05:58 PM. |

What are you studying? It may be possible to go into dentistry. It is a complex world and when you do it right its superb. I'm here to steer people away from poor quality. I spend a lot of time correcting cosmetics which have been done cheap and its much less stressfull to do it right in the first place!

Hello!
I have done a BSc in Microbiology before doing my degree in dentistry. I found my microbiology background so helpful when doing dentistry! The Peninsula Dental School does a more condensed dentistry degree (4 years instead of 5) for graduates only, but you would have to contact them to find out what degrees they accept. Dentistry is a very exciting profession, it is a very sociable job and it's quite artistic too. Furthermore you can have such a positive impact on people's lives not only by giving them more confidence in they way they look but also by helping them improve chewing and speech. Best Wishes for the future Raha
